The Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival is organised entirely by a passionate team, each bringing their own unique skills, backgrounds and creativity to the table. We all balance full-time jobs alongside our work on the Fringe, driven by a shared love for the Arts and a commitment to supporting our local creative commmunity. It’s a true labour of love – and we are proud to bring people together through an inclusive, exciting celebrations of talent.

What inspired you to start working with digital design?

I retrained in website design because I loved combining technical problem-solving with visual creativity to build something meaningful.

What’s the most challenging part of managing an event website?

Last-minute schedule changes, ticket integration glitches, and ensuring smooth performance during high-traffic booking periods before shows.

What’s your favourite thing about the fringe community?

The genuine enthusiasm – artists, audiences, and volunteers all share this infectious passion for creativity and supporting each other.

If the fringe website had a mascot, what would it be?

A friendly octopus – juggling multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping everything connected and flowing smoothly for everyone.
