Grandma’s Shop

Every dress, every suit tells a story.

The year is 1989 and loveable, eccentric septuagenarian, Hilda, has run a second-hand clothes shop in Sheffield for almost three decades. She does it to make money to feed 30 stray cats. One day a journalist from The Guardian walks in.

35 years later, her granddaughter brings to life the story of one ordinary, yet extraordinary, shopkeeper.
Welcome to a comedy-drama about love, memory and the stories clothes have to tell.

Written and performed by Julie Flower, an actor and award-winning improviser who regularly performs at festivals.
