1977 2.3 are born. Sheffield’s first new wave band and they start gigging within three weeks. They play short songs that speak about life in a depressed but proud steel city and rapidly gain a passionate following with fans hitching miles to dance and sing along to clean crisp numbers.

2022 Four decades is a lot of time to make up and 2.3 are now based in West Sussex with original member Shaft recruiting three local musicians, Ed Price (guitar), Aidan Lee (bass) and Ellie Thomas (drums) ,are about to release third album and are busy performing live.
